Drew University Offers Free Google Certificate Program for Job-Ready Skills
Drew University has partnered with Google to launch a no-cost certificate program aimed at building job-ready skills in over 15 fields. The initiative is part of the Google AI for Education Accelerator, a national effort to help college students develop critical workforce-ready skills and AI knowledge.
The Drew University-Google Certificates Project offers flexible, online programs that can be completed by students, alumni, and employees. Participants can specialize in areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics with Python, network security, and agile essentials.
More comprehensive programs are available in fields like project management, UX design, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and e-commerce. Learners who complete a program will earn a Google Career Certificate and a LinkedIn badge to showcase their achievement.
Drew University's Center for Career Development Director Kimberly Giorgio emphasized the importance of lifelong learning in today's rapidly evolving job market. 'Through Drew's partnership with Google, members of our community can continue building new skills at every stage of their academic and professional journeys,' she said.
