Druckenmiller Loads Up on AMZN, AMD Amid Semiconductor Sell-Off
Stanley Druckenmiller's Duquesne Family Office made significant changes to its portfolio in Q2, increasing exposure to Amazon.com (AMZN) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), while reducing stakes in several major semiconductor names.
The firm more than doubled its stake in AMZN, buying 541,600 shares, a 1,000% increase from the previous quarter. Duquesne also initiated a new position in Alphabet Class A (GOOG) and added call options on Meta Platforms (META) and Tesla Inc. (TSLA).
In contrast, the family office completely exited Broadcom Inc. (AVGO), Intel Corp (INTC), and Micron Technology Inc. (MU), while initiating a new 72,900-share position in AMD.
