Dubai Airline flydubai Surpasses 100 Aircraft in Fleet Expansion
flydubai, an airline based in Dubai, has announced that its fleet has surpassed 100 aircraft. The airline's sister company Emirates is also involved with flydubai as part of a larger plan to grow the size of Dubai's economy.
The airline received eleven new Boeing 737 MAX jets in its expansion efforts. These planes will be used for the carrier's growing operations and are designed to provide a young, fuel-efficient fleet. The aircraft come in two different models: the MAX 8, which has ten business class seats, and the MAX 9, which has sixteen.
The airline is also working on retrofitting its existing planes with lie-flat business class cabins and improving overhead storage capacity for all passengers. This project will take around twelve months to complete and aims to ensure a consistent experience across the entire fleet.
