Duncan Aviation Expands APU Capabilities with Honeywell Aerospace Authorization
Duncan Aviation has expanded its capabilities to include heavy maintenance authorization for Honeywell Aerospace's RE100 APU series. This new capability will be housed at their Lincoln, Nebraska, MRO facility and is expected to come online in early 2027.
The RE100 models are a staple powering several popular airframes, including the Learjet 45 and 75, the Citation 560XL/XLS and Sovereign, and the Citation Latitude. Duncan Aviation sees these aircraft frequently in their hangars.
To support this new capability, Duncan Aviation is making a significant capital investment in specialized tooling and infrastructure. This includes the installation of a state-of-the-art modular testing facility from Staley Co., which will ensure every unit meets rigorous performance standards before returning to service.
