Duquesne Family Office Shifts Focus to Mega-Cap Tech, Exits Legacy Semiconductor Names
Stanley Druckenmiller's Duquesne Family Office has made significant changes to its portfolio, shifting focus from legacy semiconductor names to mega-cap technology.
The firm more than doubled its core equity position in Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) to 541,600 shares and increased its call options on the e-commerce giant by a similar margin.
In contrast, Duquesne entirely liquidated its stakes in Broadcom Inc. (AVGO), Intel Corporation (INTC), and Micron Technology Inc. (MU), opting instead for a new position in Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) with 72,900 shares.
The firm also established significant new positions in Alphabet Inc Class A (GOOGL) with 336,300 shares and Fox Corp (FOX) across two share classes, totaling 2.8 million shares.
Druckenmiller's Duquesne Family Office initiated a sizable new position of 603,000 shares in Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL), while nearly tripling its existing stake in United Airlines Holdings Inc. (UAL) to roughly 795,000 shares.
