Earnings All-Stars Take Center Stage: Can They Keep Up the Momentum?
NVIDIA and four other technology companies are set to report their earnings this week. These companies have excellent track records of beating expectations, earning them the title of 'earnings all-stars'.
The five companies in question are NVIDIA (NVDA), CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD), Salesforce (CRM), Marvell Technology (MRVL), and Royal Bank of Canada (RY). All of these companies have a history of surprising analysts with their earnings, with only one miss between them over the past five years.
NVIDIA is expected to see an 87% rise in earnings for fiscal 2027, yet its shares are only up 13.7% year-to-date. CrowdStrike has a perfect 5-year earnings surprise track record and trades with a forward P/E ratio of 156. Salesforce has been punished by the market but is now considered cheap with a forward P/E ratio of 14.8.
Marvell Technology's shares have gained 165% year-to-date, while Royal Bank of Canada's are trading near their 5-year high.
