NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) has been a significant holding for Eastern Bank, with the firm increasing its position in shares of the computer hardware maker by 1.8% in the second quarter.

According to the company's most recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Eastern Bank acquired an additional 27,545 shares during the period, bringing its total holdings in NVIDIA to 1,574,822 shares.

The value of these holdings was approximately $315.1 million at the end of the quarter, accounting for about 4.8% of Eastern Bank's portfolio, making NVIDIA their second-largest position.
