ECSU Taps Boeing Pilot to Head New Aviation School

Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) has named Boeing 777 First Officer Sanders as the leader of its new School of Aviation. This move is part of ECSU's growing aviation science and emergency management departments, which will be housed in a new building on campus.

The new school is expected to provide students with hands-on training and real-world experience in aviation-related fields. The university has been working towards establishing the school for some time now, with officials breaking ground at the site of the future aviation science building in April 2025.
