Edgestream Partners L.P. Buys New Stake in Coca-Cola
Edgestream Partners L.P., a financial firm, has recently acquired a new stake in The Coca-Cola Company (KO), according to its Form 13F filing with the SEC. The fund purchased approximately 15,045 shares of KO stock during the first quarter, valued at around $1.14 million.
This is not an isolated investment; several other institutional investors and hedge funds have also added to or reduced their stakes in Coca-Cola's business. Geneos Wealth Management Inc., for instance, increased its holdings in KO by 0.3% during the first quarter, with a total of 40,879 shares valued at over $3.1 million.
Meanwhile, analysts remain optimistic about KO's future performance. In fact, JPMorgan Chase & Co. recently raised their price target on Coca-Cola from $90 to $96, citing the company's solid sales growth and stable dividend payout ratio.
