Edgestream Partners L.P., a fund management company, has reduced its holdings in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) by 68.4% in the first quarter, according to its latest Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The fund sold 45,617 shares of Apple's stock during this period, leaving it with a remaining 21,110 shares worth $5,358,000 at the end of the reporting period.
This is not an isolated incident; several other institutional investors and hedge funds have also modified their holdings in Apple recently. Vanguard Group Inc., for instance, increased its stake by 1.9% in the fourth quarter, bringing its total shares to 1,426,283,914 valued at $387,749,545,000.
Apple's market capitalization stands at $4.46 trillion, with a P/E ratio of 35.01 and a beta of 1.09. The stock has experienced significant price movements in recent years, ranging from a 52-week low of $223.78 to a 52-week high of $344.57.
