EFG International AG Adds Over 447,000 Shares to Walmart Portfolio
EFG International AG has acquired 447,282 shares in Walmart Inc. (NASDAQ: WMT), valued at approximately $50.7 million. This purchase was made during the second quarter and represents about 0.9% of EFG's portfolio, making it the company's 24th largest position.
This is not the only recent development involving Walmart shares. Several other institutional investors have also added to or reduced their stakes in WMT during the second quarter. These include Ancora Advisors LLC, Delos Wealth Advisors LLC, Primecap Management Co. CA, Palisade Capital Management LP, and Cooper Haims Advisors LLC.
Walmart's stock has been the subject of various analyst predictions and target prices. Sanford C. Bernstein restated an 'outperform' rating on shares of Walmart in a report on August 21st. Citigroup reduced their price objective on WMT from $147 to $132, but still set a 'buy' rating.
