EFG International AG Buys New Stake in Boeing Amid Institutional Investor Interest
EFG International AG, a financial services firm, has purchased a new stake in The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) during the second quarter. According to its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, EFG bought approximately 13,809 shares of Boeing's stock, valued at $2,989,000.
The move comes as several other hedge funds and institutional investors have also increased their stakes in Boeing. In the fourth quarter, Newport Trust Company LLC boosted its position by 1%, while Geode Capital Management LLC and Fisher Asset Management LLC each raised their holdings by around 3% and 2.5%, respectively.
Despite these bullish moves, Boeing's stock has faced challenges this year, with a roughly 10% annual decline in value. Some analysts argue that the company may be undervalued due to its long-term defense contracts and technology partnerships.
