Enterprises Face Bottleneck in AI Adoption: Experts Call for Organizational Overhaul
A recent roundtable discussion among industry experts highlighted the growing need for organizations to adapt to the integration of AI into their workflows. According to David Gu, Global Partner of Microsoft and General Manager of Win-Win in China Division, the key to unlocking the full potential of AI lies not in its model capability but rather in an organization's ability to deeply integrate it.
The discussion, held at the 2026 Pinchuang Global Brand Festival, brought together experts from top companies including Microsoft, Alibaba ATH Qwen Large Model, Plaud, and KIRI. They emphasized that while AI has greatly boosted individual productivity, its value creation for organizations is severely lagging behind.
The panelists agreed that the current bottleneck in enterprise AI adoption lies in disconnected data, misaligned processes, and business teams struggling to master the technology. David Gu noted that AI helps humans make specific decisions but organizational efficiency depends on whether people can quickly align their cognition.
Liang Chao from Plaud added that models are becoming increasingly capable, and their performance is sufficient for enterprises. However, he emphasized that the real challenge lies in bringing these models into real work scenarios.
