Ethiopian Airlines is close to finalizing an agreement with Boeing for as many as ten new 777 freighters. The African carrier's expanding cargo fleet includes both current-generation 777Fs and the newer 777-8Fs, according to reports.

The proposed deal would see Ethiopian Airlines add two 777F models from the previous generation and up to eight 777-8F models. This move aims to bolster its position as Africa's largest freighter fleet carrier.
