The transaction will see Etu Energias take control of a 31% working interest in Block 14 and a 15.5% working interest in Block 14K, making it the largest interest holder in one of Angola's longest-established deepwater producing assets.

Etu Energias' Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Edson R. dos Santos, emphasized that this acquisition is more than just about production and reserves, but also about building enduring capabilities in Angola and developing deepwater operating expertise to create long-term value.
