F-15EX Eagle II Takes to the Skies in Major Milestone
The USAF's third F-15EX Eagle II has taken to the skies for its first flight, marking an important milestone in the fighter jet's development. The aircraft was rolled off the assembly line at Boeing's facility in St Louis, Missouri, before making two sorties on October 27.
This comes as part of the F-15EX Integrated Test and Evaluation programme, which has seen significant progress in recent months. In September, the USAF announced that the fighter had completed its first phase of integrated testing, a major step towards operational readiness.
