FAA Approves Boeing's 737 MAX-7 Certification

Boeing has received certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its modified type certificate of the 737 MAX-7. This approval allows Boeing to market this shortened version of its single-aisle aircraft family.

The FAA's decision marks a significant step in the gradual return of the MAX family to the market, following a certification process that has been ongoing. Southwest Airlines is among the first customers for the 737 MAX-7, with delivery expected in 2027.
