FAA Certifies Boeing 737 MAX 7 After Extended Safety Review
The Boeing 737 MAX 7 has been certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after nearly a decade of certification work.
The approval follows an extensive technical review covering various safety-critical design elements, including flight controls, system safety assessments, and human factors.
As part of the certification process, Boeing incorporated several safety enhancements required under the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act, such as updated flight-control software and a redesigned engine anti-ice system.
