FAA Certifies Boeing 737 Max After Two-Year Grounding
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finally issued a Type Certificate for the Boeing 737 Max airliner, ending a long and contentious process that began over two years ago.
The certification paves the way for airlines to resume flying the plane, which was grounded in March 2019 following two fatal crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia.
