FAA Certifies Boeing's New 737-7 Airplane for Commercial Service
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted Boeing an amended type certificate for its new 737-7 airplane, allowing it to enter commercial service.
The 737-7 model offers seating capacity of between 135 and 160 passengers.
Boeing received the certification after meeting the FAA's safety requirements and demonstrating compliance with federal regulations.
