FAA Orders Inspections for Cracks in Boeing Jets
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has ordered inspections for structural integrity issues on hundreds of Boeing 737-Max jets.
The directive affects three models of 737 Maxes: the Max 8, Max 8-200, and Max 9, totaling around 470 planes.
The FAA received reports that some airplanes had cracks near one of the galley door cutouts, prompting the inspection order.
