Fabrinet's Diversified Customer Base Fuels AI Boom
Fabrinet's (NYSE:FN) recent fiscal fourth quarter earnings report revealed the company's deep involvement in the AI infrastructure buildout. The optical manufacturing specialist, often associated with Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA), has a diverse customer base that contributes to its growth.
According to Chief Financial Officer Csaba Vedres, four customers represent 10% or more of Fabrinet's total revenue: Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) at 20%, Nvidia at 16%, Nokia Corp (NYSE:NOK) at 11%, and Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) at 11%. This diversification indicates that Fabrinet's AI exposure is becoming more widespread.
Management expressed confidence in the company's long-term prospects, citing continued demand from multiple growth engines, including data center interconnect (DCI), high-performance computing (HPC), and transceivers. The focus on next-generation optical technologies and hyperscaler demand suggests that investors are increasingly viewing Fabrinet as a key manufacturing partner for AI networking.
