Fanatics Fest Smashes Attendance Record with Over 200,000 Sports Fans
Fanatics Fest set a new attendance record at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, drawing more than 200,000 sports fans over four days from July 16 to 19.
The event featured 90 live panels, podcasts, and performances, as well as appearances by over 400 athletes from various sports, including the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, MLS, and WWE.
One of the standout activations was American Express's fan experience, which paired cardmember perks with playful sports moments. The activation invited guests to compete in rooms themed around everyday versions of beloved sports, such as kitchen golf and bedroom basketball.
The event also saw several viral moments, including a live stunt hosted by founder Todd Graves, where Tom Brady sent Rob Gronkowski plunging into 500 gallons of Raising Cane's signature sauce. Kevin Hart filmed live episodes of Cold As Balls in an ice bath, while Justin Bieber made an unannounced appearance to perform and compete in the Fanatics Games.
