Farmers National Bank Boosts NVIDIA Holdings Amid Wall Street Partnerships
Farmers National Bank significantly increased its stake in NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) by 50.2% during the first quarter, according to a recent SEC filing. The bank's total holdings in NVDA now amount to approximately $8.7 million and represent around 1.9% of their overall portfolio.
NVIDIA is one of Farmers National Bank's top 11 holdings, and the increase in its stake reflects the bank's confidence in the company's performance. Meanwhile, other institutional investors have also been buying into NVDA, with Lifetime Wealth Management P.C., Longview Financial Advisors Inc., and Phillip James Consulting Co. all purchasing new stakes during the quarter.
However, not everyone is optimistic about NVDA's future prospects. Analysts warn that NVIDIA's potential residual-value guarantees could expose it to losses if AI projects fail or GPU prices decline. Additionally, the company faces competition from Microsoft's development of custom AI silicon and Broadcom's faster-growing custom-chip business.
NVIDIA is set to report its fiscal second-quarter results on August 26, with investors expecting around $91 billion in revenue guidance. The company has also partnered with major Wall Street players to mobilize over $500 billion in third-party capital for AI data centers and GPU deployments.
