FC Bayern Munich Teams Up with Google in Landmark Partnership
FC Bayern Munich has signed a long-term partnership with Google that will see the tech giant become an integral part of the club's digital operations. The deal designates Gemini as the official consumer AI partner and Google Pixel as the official smartphone partner, effective from the start of the 2026/27 season.
The commercial agreement covers both the men's and women's teams, integrating advanced Google products across digital content creation, matchday fan engagement, and supporter-facing services. Gemini will serve as an interactive AI tool for supporters before, during, and after fixtures, providing detailed opposition intelligence, advanced tactical analysis, comprehensive statistics, line-up updates, and real-time match developments.
FC Bayern board member for marketing and sales, Rouven Kasper, noted that the partnership combines exclusive digital content with cutting-edge artificial intelligence to transform how supporters interact with the teams. Google DACH senior director of marketing, Dr. Anne-Katrin Hübel, emphasized that Gemini and Pixel will make football experiences more personalized, creative, and accessible for the club's global fan base.
