Ferrer Tapped to Lead Boeing in Latin America and the Caribbean
Boeing has appointed Celso Ferrer as its new president for Latin America and the Caribbean. This appointment, which will take effect on September 4th, aims to strengthen the company's operations, strategy, and footprint in the region.
Ferrer brings four years of experience as CEO of GOL, where he initially started as an intern before rising through the ranks to become operations director and vice president of planning.
'It is a great pleasure and, at the same time, a privilege to have the opportunity to join Boeing during a period of expansion in such a dynamic region as Latin America,' Ferrer said.
Boeing's Global President Brendan Nelson AO considers Ferrer the 'right person' to tackle the opportunities and challenges this changing region presents for the company.
