Ferreyros Hits Milestone with 1,000th Caterpillar Mining Truck Delivery
Ferreyros, a leading heavy machinery company in Peru, has delivered its 1,000th Caterpillar mining truck to Compañía Minera Antamina. This milestone is significant as it marks the culmination of over three decades of collaboration between Ferreyros and Caterpillar.
The 1,000th truck, a Cat 798 with a payload capacity of 372 t, was delivered to the Antamina copper-zinc mine at an altitude of 4,300 m. Since its introduction in 1994, Ferreyros has continuously evolved the portfolio, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
The company's commitment to supporting its customers is evident through its industry-leading capabilities, including a national network of workshops, component repair centres, electrical components workshop, robotic spare parts distribution centre, warehouses, monitoring centres, and laboratories.
