Field & Main Bank acquired a new stake in Salesforce Inc.'s (NYSE:CRM) stock, purchasing 4,630 shares valued at approximately $725,000 in its most recent 13F filing with the SEC.

This is not an isolated instance of institutional investors buying into CRM. Multiple firms have taken similar positions, including Commonwealth Retirement Investments LLC and Manning & Napier Advisors LLC.

Despite some analysts maintaining neutral or equivalent ratings, Salesforce's strong quarterly earnings report and AI partnership with Anthropic have boosted investor sentiment.

The company reported adjusted EPS of $5.90, beating estimates by $2.63, while revenue rose 10.8% year over year to $11.35 billion. The expansion of its alliance with Anthropic, integrating Claude into Agentforce and launching 'Claudeforce', has been seen as evidence that Salesforce can monetize AI and benefit from rising usage.
