Goldman Sachs recently reviewed second-quarter earnings across its fintech coverage, noting that median stock gains were modest at 13% quarter-to-date. Since then, gains have been maintained.

The firm's review revealed that revenue and earnings per share estimates for these companies saw low single-digit revisions upwards. Chime, Remitly, Par Technology, and Riskified experienced the most significant upward revisions. In contrast, Western Union, Fiserv, and Shift4 Payments received negative revisions.

Goldman Sachs observed that day-of-earnings stock reactions were less extreme than in previous quarters, with some exceptions driven by positioning. Investors are now seeking to identify which companies can maintain stronger revenue growth as consumer spending slows.
