Firefox Now Part of Nvidia GeForce Now's Growing Cloud Gaming Roster
Nvidia's GeForce Now game streaming service has added support for Mozilla Firefox, allowing users to stream games from their web browser. This brings Firefox on par with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Apple Safari.
The addition of Firefox support is likely due to its relatively small market share of 3.6% in July 2026, according to Statcounter. Despite this, Nvidia GeForce Now remains available as a native app on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Nvidia's cloud gaming service offers up to 1440p streaming at 120 frames per second with its $19.99/month GeForce Now Ultimate subscription. However, the desktop app provides an even better experience, allowing for up to 5K streaming at 360 FPS.
In addition to Firefox support, Nvidia GeForce Now is adding 12 new games this week, including High on Life 1 and 2, Hell is Us, The Sinking City 2, The Thaumaturge, and Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. To access these games, users simply need to connect their game libraries from Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Xbox app, and other platforms.
