First Nebraska Trust Co Takes New Position in Salesforce

First Nebraska Trust Co has taken a new position in Salesforce Inc., a cloud-based software provider, according to its latest 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission. The company bought approximately 31,008 shares of Salesforce's stock, valued at around $4,858,000 during the second quarter.

This is not an isolated instance, as several other institutional investors and hedge funds have also recently purchased or increased their stakes in Salesforce. Vanguard Group Inc., for example, raised its position by 0.3% during the fourth quarter, owning approximately 89,843,166 shares valued at $23,800,353,000.

State Street Corp grew its stake in shares of Salesforce by 1.3% during the same period, now owning 50,080,230 shares worth around $13,286,909,000. J. Stern & Co. Capital International Investors increased its holdings in shares of Salesforce by 13.3% during the same period, now owning around 22,721,010 shares worth approximately $6,019,199,000.
