Fitbit Air Pokémon Sleep Tracker Lands September 15
Google has opened preorders for its Fitbit Air Pokémon Sleep Special Edition tracker, a collaboration between Google Health and Pokémon to promote better sleep. The special-edition strap features a serene Sleepy Blue colorway and a custom silk print of Sleeping Pikachu on the label.
The tracker itself is identical to the original Fitbit Air, with no new sensors or features, but it does come with a three-month trial of Google Health Premium and a serial code for Pikachu Incense in the game. The Pokémon Sleep app turns sleep data into in-game progress, allowing players to collect rare sleep styles and Pokémon.
The special edition tracker is available for pre-order now, with shipping starting on September 15 in the US and Japan. It's priced at $99 USD, although Google also lists it for ¥19,800 in Japan. Those who already own a Fitbit Air can't purchase this strap as a standalone band.
