Fitzpatrick Mentors Young Safety in Jets Secondary

The New York Jets' 2025 draft class was not impressive for general manager Darren Mougey, but one player who shows promise is fourth-round pick Malachi Moore. The former Alabama standout played in all 17 games last season and started 14 of them, although he recorded a Pro Football Focus grade of 58.9.

Moore revealed that Minkah Fitzpatrick, a five-time Pro Bowler, has been helping him with his development this offseason. Fitzpatrick has taken Moore under his wing, teaching him how to read the quarterback and share his insights on the game.

Moore is currently competing for a starting job in the Jets' secondary with veterans Andre Cisco and Dane Belton. While Belton has been reported to be doing well, the Jets would prefer to see Moore step up and win the job due to their investment in his future.
