FLC Taps Aviation Expert as Vice Chairman Amid Bamboo Airways Woes
FLC Group, which operates Bamboo Airways and other ventures, has appointed Michael Vu as its vice chairman. Vu, a seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry, will oversee FLC's aviation business and airport infrastructure investments.
In his new role, Vu will work closely with FLC's board of directors and executive management to develop strategic plans, expand international partnerships, and connect with investment resources. The appointment is part of FLC's strategy to attract executives with strong leadership capabilities and global experience.
Vu brings a wealth of expertise to the position, having held prominent roles at Boeing Vietnam, the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, and AmCham Hanoi, among others. His experience will likely help FLC address recent operational challenges faced by Bamboo Airways, which has struggled with flight delays and cancellations.
