Florida Rebels Claim Nike EYBL Peach Jam Classic Title
The Florida Rebels, based in Orlando, claimed the top spot at the prestigious Nike EYBL Peach Jam Classic by defeating Drive Nation of Texas 71-60. The win marked the second time a Florida team has taken home the championship in three years.
Cayden Daughtry, a standout player from Calvary Christian School in Fort Lauderdale, led the Rebels to victory with an impressive 33 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. He was also named the tournament's top performer after averaging 34.8 points in five pool play games.
Daughtry's skills have been widely recognized, earning him a spot as one of the most skilled players in the country according to Adam Finkelstein, director of scouting for 247Sports. He has received offers from several top colleges, including UConn, Florida, and Louisville.
