flydubai Enters Cargo Market with Boeing Freighters

flydubai has launched dedicated cargo operations at Dubai World Central (DWC) following a wet-lease agreement with SolitAir.

The airline will introduce three Boeing 737-800 freighters, which can carry up to 23,000kg of additional payload per flight. This is in addition to the belly hold capacity on its existing fleet of 98 Boeing 737 passenger aircraft.

The dedicated freighter operation will support scheduled and charter services across over 125 destinations worldwide, initially focusing on regional markets with increasing frequencies as capacity develops.
