Foldables Face Off: Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8
Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 are two of the latest foldable phones to hit the market. While both devices share some similarities, they also have distinct differences in design, display, and camera capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a wider aspect ratio for the first time with a 5.5-inch AMOLED external screen and a 7.6-inch internal screen. In contrast, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a narrower aspect ratio with a 6.5-inch Super Actua external display and an 8-inch internal display.
The processors used in both devices also differ, with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 sporting Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold using Google's new Tensor G6 chip. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold supports 25W wireless charging and has a battery life of over 24 hours.
The cameras on both devices are also distinct, with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold featuring three rear cameras, including a 48MP wide sensor, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 having two rear cameras, including a 50MP wide sensor. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold's camera software includes features like Magic Capture and Camera Looks.
