Foldables Fail to Fold in for Apple as Shares Slip
Apple's shares slipped by around 0.3% following the launch of its first foldable iPhone, alongside a string of price hikes across its existing range.
The iPhone Duo, Apple's entry into the foldable market, starts at $1,999 and runs on the company's new A20 Pro chip.
The device has a conventional 5.4-inch screen that opens up to a 7.6-inch display, marking one of Apple's biggest changes to the iPhone's physical design in nearly two decades.
However, this significant change comes with a hefty price tag, which some analysts believe may deter customers from purchasing the device.
