Former Boeing Mechanic Alleges Harassment at Moses Lake Operation

A former Boeing aircraft mechanic has filed a federal lawsuit against the company alleging sexual and racial harassment while working at their Moses Lake operation. The lawsuit, Barrett v. The Boeing Company, was filed in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on August 19.

The plaintiff claims that despite reporting the harassment through Boeing's ethics and human resources channels, she was later fired from her job.

According to the lawsuit, the former mechanic experienced widespread harassment, including being subjected to derogatory comments based on her race and gender. She also reported an incident in which a coworker touched her without consent.

The Boeing Company has not commented publicly on the allegations or the lawsuit.
