The report notes that while Nvidia dominates the AI datacentre space, it lacks a comprehensive vision and roadmap for more traditional requirements such as hybrid cloud, edge networking, and zero trust security.
Cisco's strong security protocols and unified platform anchored by the Nexus dashboard have earned it top spot, according to Forrester. Analysts praise Cisco's capabilities in this space, but note that customers have expressed concerns about Nexus' stability and maturity.
Arista and Huawei follow closely behind as second and third place respectively, with Arista praised for its AI-led innovations and strong customer and partner engagement focus. Huawei is commended for its 'strong, engineering-led innovation' and sharp roadmap.
