Fort Johnson Man Arrested for Stealing Over $1,400 Worth of Home Depot Merchandise
A Fort Johnson man was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree after walking out of a Home Depot store without paying for $1,427.97 worth of merchandise.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office received a call on Monday evening about a man who had left the store without paying for his purchases.
Deputies were told that the suspect was driving north on State Highway 30 in a white pickup truck, and they found it at the county line after contacting a Fulton County Sheriff's Deputy.
Rocco Nicosia, of Fort Johnson, was stopped by deputies and identified as the driver. The stolen merchandise included an electric welder and a Milwaukee-brand storage box.
