Fort Wayne Community Events Highlight Redevelopment and Business Success
Fort Wayne will host two significant events in August and October. On August 27th, MKM Architecture + Design will hold its signature community event, Fishbowl, at their office located at 435 E. Brackenridge St. The event features a conversation with Alec Johnson, redevelopment director for the city of Fort Wayne. Doors open at 3:15 p.m., and attendees can network and enjoy refreshments before the conversation begins at 3:45 p.m.
The Fishbowl is an opportunity for community members to learn about what drives individuals in their careers and what keeps them up at night. Reservations are required and can be made online through Eventbrite. This event promotes networking and encourages people from different backgrounds to come together.
In October, Grow Wabash County will hold its annual dinner celebration on the 8th at the Legacy Hall in the Honeywell Center. The event recognizes Gaunt & Son Asphalt Inc. as the Business of the Year for 2026. The company was founded by Michael and Georgianna Hileman in 1981.
