Forth Children's Theatre Brings Magic to 'Frozen' Stage Production
For their latest production, Forth Children's Theatre (FCT) has taken on the big challenge of Disney's 'Frozen The Musical', a show that is beloved by households with children aged four to twelve. At Broughton High School from August 1st-8th, FCT's adaptation of the iconic film brings Elsa and Anna's story to life with impressive vocals and energetic dancing.
The plot follows Elsa, who has isolated herself after accidentally injuring her sister Anna with her magical ice powers. Years later, at her coronation, a stressful incident causes Elsa's powers to plunge the Kingdom into eternal winter. Anna must journey into the icy mountains to find her sister and save their home.
The cast of FCT's 'Frozen' delivers exceptional performances across the board. Isla Nisbet shines as Elsa, imbuing her with a heavy sense of duty and impressively belting out challenging songs. Lara Shanks brings Anna to life with comedic timing and vocal control, growing in confidence throughout the story.
The supporting cast is equally impressive, with standout performances from Jac Simpson-Hobbs as Kristoff, Ryan Guthrie as Hans, and Sean Tomassi as Olaf's puppeteer. Maisie Aitchison steals every scene as Weselton, injecting confidence and presence into her role.
