Fox Hill Wealth Management Invests in Walmart Inc.
Fox Hill Wealth Management recently acquired a new stake in Walmart Inc. (NASDAQ:WMT), purchasing approximately $2.29 million worth of shares during the second quarter, according to its most recent disclosure with the SEC.
This is not an isolated instance, as several other institutional investors have also added to or reduced their stakes in Walmart. For example, Merkkuri Wealth Advisors LLC bought a new stake in Walmart in the first quarter worth about $29,000, and Entrust Financial LLC bought a new position in Walmart during the fourth quarter valued at about $27,000.
The latest developments come as Walmart continues to grow its e-commerce presence. The company's U.S. marketplace sales increased 52% in recent periods, supported by a broader product selection, greater use of fulfillment services and international expansion in Mexico and Canada.
However, not all analysts are optimistic about Walmart's prospects. Erste Group Bank lowered its fiscal 2027 EPS estimates, signaling expectations for slower earnings growth or increased cost pressure.
