Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max production is underway in India ahead of their expected September launch. Local factories are ramping up output to meet demand from US and European markets, according to sources.

While Foxconn retains the lion's share of volumes, Tata Electronics is set to expand its share of Pro-series manufacturing this year. The Indian production base is expected to account for 26% of global iPhone production by 2026.

Foxconn will continue to handle the bulk of production, particularly for iPhones manufactured in India for global markets. Meanwhile, Tata is expected to take on a larger share of Pro-model production than it did last year, having started with base models before moving to Pro models in the previous production cycle.
