FriendShip Boats Return to Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts

The FriendShip boat service has resumed at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Beach Club Resort in Walt Disney World. The boats, which offer direct transportation to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and other resorts, were temporarily closed for maintenance on August 17.

The shared boat dock was expected to reopen on August 21, as previously announced by Disney. Guests staying at the Yacht Club or Beach Club resorts can now once again board FriendShip boats from their resort's dock to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, with walking access also available to EPCOT.

During the closure, bus transportation was provided as an alternative for guests heading to Hollywood Studios. However, this may not have been a convenient option for everyone, especially in hot weather conditions. The return of the FriendShip boats is welcome news for guests staying at these resorts, particularly with the upcoming EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
