Funky Food and Drinks Hit Salesforce Park This Weekend
Salesforce Park in San Francisco is hosting a unique event this Sunday, August 23. The 'Suds Francisco' funk and fermentation festival will feature over 40 vendors offering unlimited food and drink tastings for $68.24 each. The event is part of the Rooftop Rhythms anniversary weekend and includes live music from Katdelic, featuring P-Funk All-Star RonKat Spearman.
The festival will also offer a variety of fermented drinks and pickly foods, including farmhouse ales, kombucha, sourdough, tempeh, and kimchi. Guests can enjoy the unlimited tastings while listening to sets from DJ Cole Odin in the Main Plaza. The event is open to all ages for free, but tickets are required for participation.
The 'Suds Francisco' festival is presented by Barebottle Brewing and the Transbay Joint Powers Authority, with proceeds benefiting the Bay Area Brewers Guild. This organization supports independent breweries and their year-round work, including SF Beer Week.
