The Sony FX5 camera has entered its U.S. retail stage, but Amazon's current status is unclear.

Amazon lists the $4,900 Cinema Line camera as 'Temporarily out of stock', but this doesn't necessarily mean the first allocation has sold out.

Sony announced the FX5 on July 22, positioning it between the FX3 and larger cinema systems.

The company claims the FX5 introduces a newly developed 5K full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor, BIONZ XR2 processing, Open Gate acquisition, and internal X-OCN recording.
