Game-X Revolutionizes Network Services with Agentic Orchestration
A recent TM Forum Catalyst Challenge winner has addressed a pressing industry problem in network services - how to move from fragmented automation towards trusted closed-loop autonomy.
The challenge, Game-X, introduced a Model-as-a-service control plane powered by agentic orchestration. This enables service providers to monetize AI traffic and deliver measurable experience outcomes using zero-trouble assurance agents.
The winning project was part of the Autonomous Networks Moonshot Catalyst Challenge at DTW Ignite 2026 and included Colt, stc, Telefonica, Turk Telecom, Verizon, Cisco, Etiya, and Ni2. The team's contribution to self-optimizing, self-healing, and zero-touch network operations earned them recognition.
AI-native services demand instant provisioning, guaranteed outcomes, and zero disruption. The increasing AI traffic is reshaping service expectations, with customers defining requirements in terms of business outcomes rather than infrastructure. This shift towards intent-driven interaction requires network operations teams to optimize traditional transport network KPIs while managing new AI-service KPIs.
