Garrett Manes Secures First Career Win at Daytona eNASCAR iRacing Event
The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series Regular Season finale took place at Daytona International Speedway, where only 10 drivers could advance to the Playoffs and continue their quest for the $500,000 prize and the Dale Earnhardt Jr Cup.
The event saw a wild finish as Garrett Manes, driving the No. 51 Rick Ware Racing Chevrolet, secured his first career win in his 80th start by holding off several drivers on the final lap. Manes had previously come close to winning at Daytona four years ago but was denied by Femi Olatunbosun.
The top-10 playoff spots were decided by points, with the field set after a chaotic Triple eNASCAR Overtime period. Drivers like Steven Wilson, who led the most laps, and Blake Reynolds managed to pass Blaze Crawford on the final lap but couldn't catch Manes.
